Not More Sugar Cookies?!

YES, more sugar cookies! Also some gingerbread cookies because ’tis the season. We’re hosting an ugly sweater party tomorrow, the apartment is all dressed up in her holiday best, so I decided to whip up some cookies to match the occasion. It was around this time last year that I started working towards the perfect sugar cookie, and since then making festive cookies has become one of my favorite traditions (as you all well know). It feels extra special around this time of the year since cookies really shine during the holidays. And all the shapes are so adorable. I’m not yet signed up for any cookie swaps this year, but if I was, I’d definitely make these cutie little Santa Clauses again!!!

Second day of December and I’ve watched 3 holiday movies (Christmas Vacation, The Night Before, Miracle on 34th), we have a tree (more on that later), and holiday spirit is going so strong. Hope you all have a great weekend! Be nice, Santa’s watching!!!

It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like…

Christmas!!! I’ve been waiting what feels like all year for December 1st to come around so I can deck the halls, blast some holiday tunes, and start enjoying the season. Even though, truth be told, I have been listening to Christmas albums since November 26th. I’ve got a whole month of sweet treats and holiday fun planned so I happily kicked it off with a day of decorating, playing National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on repeat, and cooking chili in the crock pot.

Now my home feels so warm and cozy for the tidings of joy! We’re making a tree trip soon, but my big decorating project this year was getting the evergreen garland. I got mine at a tree lot and I love it. It smells amazing and was fairly simple to hang, and I love the way it looks with twinkly lights wrapped around it! So magical! I hope everyone had a beautiful start to December! Rabbit rabbit!!!
